The Twins Days Festival Committee is very proud to give back to the community that it calls home. One of the many ways it does this is by providing several scholarships to Twinsburg High School students, twins, and those individuals that have made notable contributions to their communities. Over the past three decades Twins Days has given away over $102,000 in scholarship awards!
Each year the Twins Days Festival Committee honors two Twinsburg High School graduating seniors who exhibit exceptional efforts not only in academics but in community service as well.
These awards of $500 each will be presented to two Twinsburg High School students that meet the requirements explained on the application page. These applications must be received by April 14, 2023 to be eligible. The selected recipients will be notified by telephone. The scholarship monies will be made payable to the recipient’s account at the school of their choice. Each year the Twins Days Festival Committee honors a set of twins, who are graduating seniors, that exhibit exceptional efforts in both school and community service, and share their experience being a twin, and what effect, if any, it will have on their career choice.
The Twins Days Festival makes available a scholarship ($1,000 per twin) to help a set of qualified twins with upcoming college expenses. One set of twins is selected each year to be awarded this scholarship. The Twins Days Andrew R. Miller Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor the man who was dedicated to his community and who was instrumental to the history and growth of the Twins Days Festival. In addition to giving to his community by serving on local boards, commissions and councils, Andy’s dedication, hard work and the foundation he provided have enabled the Twins Days Festival to grow for over 40 years. Andy recognized that the Twins Days Festival was not only a way to celebrate twins and multiple births, but also to showcase the great community of Twinsburg, Ohio.
